Tropic Air is Kenya's leading air charter company serving the north. In 2008 Tropic Air acquired a third helicopter and two Waco bi-planes.

With a fleet of 6 aircraft and 3 helicopters Tropic Air now has a total capacity of 48 seats.

Tropic Air has bought back to Africa the true romance of early aviation, that was enjoyed by Denys Finch Hatton, Karen Blixen and Beryl Markham.

The Waco has an open cock-pit, and can carry 2 passengers side-by-side whilst the pilot fly's from the rear.

The planes have a beautiful leather interior, the best music intercom system and a 3-way camera system that will enable passengers to take this once-in-a-life-time flying experience home.

This airplane was bought from Miami, Florida in August 2005 with only 1800 hours on airframe.

The Cessna Caravan has fantastic performance on all types of airfields.

It has the latest instruments and executive seating arrangements.

This plane was brought from South Africa in 2003 and was Tropic Air's first Cessna Caravan.

It currently has 2000 hours on the airframe. This aircraft has the latest instruments.

Passenger Capacity: 3 or 4 passengers

This plane was purchased in 1997 by Tropic Air. It was manufactured in 1976. The aircraft has over 8000 hours on the airframe, and had a new engine fitted at the end of 2002.

The aircraft has a Sky-Map GPS and and interom system. The aircraft was re-sprayed in 2003 with new Tropic Air safari colours.

Although Tropic Air has always operated a Cessna 182, this has only been on lease. In 2001 Tropic Air purchased this 5Y-BOW from Austria.

The aircraft was manufactured in 1973 and has 3800 hours on airframe. This plane had a new engine fitted in November 2004.

The aircraft is installed with modern instruments including a Sky-Map GPS and intercom system allowing the pilot to communicate with ease with the passengers.
