Kayaking with elephant and sleeping under the stars – are just two of the thrilling helicopter adventures that we enjoyed over the New Year. It’s not every day that one can really touch base with nature, in one of Africa’s most wild and unexplored parts of Kenya, whilst welcoming in 2015!
In the Kipsing Valley, we slept under the stars in simple pop-up mosie-net style tents, with Lattitude Adventures Africa.
The Kipsing Valley lies in the heart of Samburuland, in Kenya. A wildly dramatic landscape with sandy luggas and typical arid savannah scenery. Here, under wide skies and against a backdrop of low hills, wildlife roam across the plains.
Kayaking on a vast dam with Mugie’s Elkorian Camp, Laikipia – Kenya, is one of the most exciting and unobtrusive ways to get up close to elephant. This assured watering point, especially this time of year when the country is so hot and dry, draws a spectrum of wildlife, from near and far, and makes for some thrilling game viewing.
This is the kind of thing that memories are made of. Extraordinary experiences, adventures of a lifetime and lasting memories is what our helicopter safaris are all about.
